Yuzvendra Chahal has been in superb form of late. He has been picking wickets for fun in the Indian T20 league 2022. As a matter of fact, he has already picked 17 wickets in just six games of the 2022 edition so far. Rajasthan's recent game against Kolkata saw the leggie take a sensational fifer.
In what turned out to be an icing over the cake, Chahal also picked a hat-trick in the game. This proved to be a game-changing moment as it triggered a collapse. Kolkata then fell short of their target by seven runs. This enabled Chahal to win the player of the match award as well.
After the completion of the match, Rajasthan's official Twitter handle posted a heartwarming video. It saw the spinner getting interviewed by his wife Dhanashree Verma. In the clip, she was speaking to her husband from the stands. It didn't take too long for this Tweet to go viral.
"Yuzi khush, Bhabhi khush aur hum bhi khush. Truly a “hat-trick day” 💗😁
#Royalsfamily | @yuzi_chahal" read the caption of Rajasthan's Tweet. Dhanashree was seen asking the leggie "How do you feel, I'm out of the bubble? You're so happy on this 'hat-trick' day?". It was truly a very sweet moment between the couple.

As far as the game is concerned, Chahal picked his hat-trick during the 17th over. It included the wickets of Kolkata's captain Shreyas Iyer, Shivam Mavi and Pat Cummins. Hence, the 31-year-old went on to draw light on the same during the post-match presentation.
"I had to take wickets in this match to change the result. I worked on my bowling. I spoke to the coaches and the skipper. I was thinking of a googly but then I didn't want to take a chance. Would have been a happy with a dot ball as well on my hat-trick ball. My googly was coming out well and sent it down to Venkatesh Iyer," said Yuzvendra Chahal. Rajasthan's next game is slated to take place on April 22, against the Delhi-based franchise.
