On 22 July 2023, Seattle Orcas (SEA) locked horns with Texas Super Kings (TSK) in the 10th match of the ongoing Major League Cricket (MLC) in Morrisville. TSK came to this clash after a win over MI NY while SEA came to this game after winning their first two matches. So, both teams were looking to continue their winning momentum.
But, SEA managed to win a low-scoring thriller by eight wickets and managed three wins out of three games. Their skipper, Wayne Parnell bagged a fifer and won the Player of the Match award. But, a video from that match went viral where Parnell was seen striking twice in the same over.

Wayne Parnell took five wickets for 20 runs in four overs
Speaking of the video, the incident took place during the eighth over of TSK’s innings. Parnell came up to bowl and on the first delivery of that over, he rattled the stumps of David Miller. The Protea batter looked absolutely stunned as the ball hit teh top of off. Then, on the fourth delivery, he took the wicket of Milind Kumar with a short ball. Kumar went for a pull but failed to get the elevation as Nauman Anwar completed a fantastic catch. Speaking of the match, Parnell won the toss and opted to bowl first. The decision proved to be right as TSK got bundled out for just 127 runs in 20 overs. Dwayne Bravo scored 39 runs off 39 balls.
In reply, SEA chased dwn the target in just 16 overs with eight wickets in hand. Quinton de Kock scored 53 runs off 36 balls while Heinrich Klaasen also remained not out on 42 runs off 21 balls, including four fours and three sixes. During the post-match presentation ceremony, Parnell said: “I think it's just about the process really. After the last game, I didn't bowl as well as I would have liked to. It was an opportunity to put things right and I kept it simple. I think the first one (wicket) I got lucky, got a bit shorter then I wanted to. A really good ball to get Miller, and at backend once guys are trying to hit you, there is always a chance for wickets.”
