Virat Kohli, the Indian giant who helped the team clinch an emphatic win against Pakistan with an unbeaten 82, reached the 50-run landmark yet again during Netherlands on October 27, Thursday and helped India put on a great total of 179 runs on the board at the end of the first innings.
During the 17th over of the match, Kohli came up with a six over cover and stunned the crowd. However, what caught the eye was the reaction from the veteran himself as he looked in disbelief of his own shot.

The brilliance from team India star
Kohli, after being out of the radar for almost 2 years, is finally reclaiming his lost throne and the batter proved his worth yet again during the previous match against Babar Azam and his men on Sunday. During Netherlands clash, Kohli looked in fine touch and also managed to come up with a few classic shots that left fans and spectators in awe.
With regard to the first innings, after KL Rahul made his way back to the dressing room for just 9 runs, the Indian captain Rohit Sharma and Kohli joined hands to lift the team up and the duo put on a partnership of 73 runs for the 2nd wicket.
Suryakumar Yadav, who came in at Number 4, managed to score 51 runs and help India put on a total of 179 runs on the board. Suryakumar, who witnessed Kohli’s brilliance from the other end, said after the innings that he enjoyed the batting from the other end and added that the veteran needed to stick to his routines.
“I’ve enjoyed batting here, enjoyed that partnership. When I went inside, Virat bhai just said keep batting the way you have been batting, so I just expressed myself. Good to see everyone come here and support us, my wife is also around so that’s a great support as well. The wicket is a bit two-paced, it is a good score to defend. (On Virat Kohli) He has been batting amazingly, he has just stuck to his routines and processes. I’m really enjoying batting with him,” said Suryakumar after the first innings.
