Former Indian skipper and senior batter Virat Kohli is enjoying a golden run of form with the bat in the ongoing edition of the 20-20 World Cup 2022. He is currently the highest run-scorer in the tournament with 242 runs with having amazing three unbeaten half-centuries to his name.
Apart from his brilliance on the field, Kohli is also adored by cricket fans for his response to the love of his fans. Recently, the veteran of 71 international centuries happened to do a similar when he got a message from a specially-abled fan.
Senior Indian sports journalist Vimal Kumar posted a video on his YouTube channel. In the video, he conveyed the message from a die-hard fan to the Indian batting great.
“Keep doing what you are doing because it inspires people. I can’t see him, but I would love to hear him. That will be very delightful. Cricket is a sport, and it makes people happy,” said Ellie which was later conveyed to Kohli from Vimal Kumar.
Ellie also added further that she would be fortunate enough if the modern-day cricketing legend says something to her.
Subsequently, Virat won the hearts of millions of his fans by delivering a heartfelt message to his fan after being conveyed by Vimal Kumar.

I am really honored and grateful that I was able to make an impact in your life and give you some sort of inspiration. And make you optimistic about life,” said Kohli in response to Ellie’s message.
“I can only wish you all the best and may God bless you with all the happiness and would love to meet you when we come back to England. I am looking forward to meeting you,” the highest run-scorer of the 20-20 World Cup added later.
