Former Indian skipper and senior batter Virat Kohli, who smashed his career’s 45th ODI century in the first of the three-match ODI series against Sri Lanka couldn’t live up to the expectations in the second ODI and fell prey to Lahiru Kumara only on the individual score of 4 runs.
But apart from the action of the match, Virat Kohli alongside his young teammate Ishan Kishan attracted the eyeballs for something. The duo happened to show some dance moves in a light show at the Eden Gardens Stadium in Kolkata.
The video of this moment went viral on social media within minutes of being shared by a Twitter user on the micro-blogging site.

Speaking of Ishan Kishan, he hasn’t got a chance to feature in the playing XI of India so far in the two of the three-match ODI series. Notably, the 24-year-old smashed the fastest double ton in the history of ODI cricket last month in December 2022 during the Chattogram 50-over fixture against Bangladesh.
Whereas on the other hand, the veteran batter Virat Kohli ended the calendar year of 2022 with a century and started the new calendar year of 2023 with a century as well. Now, the 34-year-old is only five centuries away from breaking the record of Sachin Tendulkar’s highest number of ODI centuries (49). Notably, Kohli has also broken the record of Sachin Tendulkar in terms of ODI centuries against Sri Lanka.
Now, the men in blue will lock horns in the third and last of the three-match ODI series against Sri Lanka at the Greenfield International Stadium in Guwahati on Sunday, the 15th of January later this week. Rohit Sharma’s men have already taken an unassailable lead of 2-0 in the series with a win by four wickets in the penultimate fixture of the three-match 50-overs bilateral clash against Sri Lanka.
