After the intense Indian Premier League (IPL) encounter on Saturday at M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru, star batter Virat Kohli and Delhi Capitals Director of Cricket Sourav Ganguly refused to shake hands. In RCB's 23-run victory over DC, Kohli was instrumental in the Bangalore-based team's comeback to winning form following consecutive losses to Lucknow Super Giants and Kolkata Knight Riders.
Both teams' players and support staff shook hands after the game as a sign of sportsmanship. On social media, a video showing Kohli and Ganguly not shaking hands went viral. While Ganguly moved ahead in the line to greet other players, Kohli engaged in conversation with DC head coach Ricky Ponting.
Here's the viral video:

RCB defeated DC by 23 runs at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in IPL 2023
The video quickly gained popularity on social media. Some viewers believed Virat Kohli purposefully ignored Sourav Ganguly, while others claimed it was merely a coincidence because the RCB batter engaged Ponting in the discussion.
It appears that the two former India captains don't get along well because everything began after Kohli was relieved of the ODI captaincy after giving up the T20I leadership position. The 34-year-old cricketer refuted Ganguly's assertion that he asked Kohli to stay in the post and claimed that no one had requested that he do so.
In the meantime, Kohli kept up his commanding form with the bat and recorded his third half-century of the year on Saturday with a 50-run performance against Delhi Capitals. In just 33 balls, the 34-year-old completed his half-century and displayed his violent side in celebration. He was fired up when the M Chinnaswamy Stadium crowd erupted in thunderous applause for their favourite player.
In M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bangalore scored 174/6 thanks to his fifty, a score that was below average. The 175-run chase was subsequently rendered meaningless when the bottom-placed Delhi team, who entered the game following four straight losses, was limited to 151/9 in the allotted 20 overs.
