India thumped Australia in the decider held at Hyderabad and clinched the series 3-1. Fans had a lot of moments from the match to take home one of them involving Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli. Any cricket game is a must-watch for those who are desperate for memes. The third T20I between India and Australia was no different as fans kept coming up with memes.
To speak of a few, Rohit Sharma kissed Dinesh Karthik’s helmet and the meme creators were on it right away. Virat Kohli received a pat on his back from the Indian skipper and it became a heartwarming moment for fans. There were many takeaways from the game and one could only predict the number of memes that popped up right after the match.
However, towards the end of the match, when India posed for a photograph with the trophy, Virat Kohli closed his nose for one obvious reason. For the unversed, Dinesh Karthik was holding the trophy and once he lifted the trophy, the Indian veteran, who was standing next to the wicketkeeper, closed his nose.
The moment went viral and fans started coming up with memes right away.

India steals the show on the back of stellar innings from Suryakumar Yadav
Speaking of the match, India won it in the final over and the Australians gave a tough fight. Axar Patel received the man of the series award, while Suryakumar Yadav received the player of the match award. The Indian skipper looked happy and confident for the next series and lauded the team for their splendid performance.
"It's a special place. We have had great memories playing for India and when I played for Deccan Chargers as well. Biggest positive was different individuals stepping up and delivering. You feel good about it as a management. Margin of error in T20s is small. We took our chances, we were brave as well," Rohit Sharma said after the match.
"Sometimes it doesn't come off. There are areas to improve as well. Not easy coming back after a break against a tough team. They (Bumrah and Harshal) will take some time. Hopefully, they can get back into their groove in the next series," he concluded.
Memes, memories, the rise of Suryakumar Yadav, the prowess of Axar Patel and a lot to take home from the series. However, the Men in Blue are on a mission to the 20-20 World Cup 2022 and the team will look to move forward to the series against South Africa.
