Tim David is currently playing in the T20 Blast for the Lancashire club as their overseas signing. He has had a fantastic season so far. The aggressive batter has continued from where he left off for the Mumbai team in the Indian T20 League 2022. He hit a 25-ball 60 at No.6 against Worcestershire on Sunday, after an 18-ball 35 against Yorkshire in his first game. The club saw a 12-run victory in the match on Sunday.

In the match, Tim David was involved in a comical incident that went viral on the internet. David sprinted from mid-off to chase a delivery that was driven through the covers, towards the boundary ropes. As the ball slowed, David dived full length, successfully tipping the ball back but losing his pants in the process. Despite the slid trouser, he rose up and finished the fielding attempt, tossing the ball back to the centre with his pants still halfway down his legs.

The T20 Blast's official Twitter handle posted the hilarious video with the caption, "We are sorry Tim, but we just had to."
