Indian skipper Rohit Sharma decided to open with Rishabh Pant in the second T20I against England. Even, Rohit’s decision got proved right to some extent as they both made a partnership of 49 runs for the first wicket. The 35-year-old got out on debutant Richard Gleeson’s delivery in the fifth over of the innings.

It was the third ball of the first over in the Indian innings. Rishabh Pant played the English bowler David Willey for a single. All of sudden, David Willey accidentally happened to obstruct the Pant’s way when he was going to run.

Later on, Rishabh Pant said to Rohit in Hindi, “Ye beech mein aa gya, takkar maar dun kya”. Rishabh Pant’s voice got captured in the stump mic. Since then, the video has gone viral over social media, and fans are reacting to the funny attitude of the young Indian wicketkeeper-batter.

Speaking of the match so far, India posted a decent total of 170 runs for the loss of eight wickets in the allotted 20 overs. Senior all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja remained the highest scorer for India in the first Inning. He played an impressive and must-require knock of 46 runs off just 29 balls with five boundaries.

Before Jadeja, skipper Rohit Sharma and another opener Rishabh Pant played the knocks of 31 and 26 respectively. Chris Jordan scalped four wickets for England whereas debutant pacer Richard Gleeson claimed the three top-order batters of India. This list included the likes of skipper, Rohit Sharma, Rishabh Pant, and former skipper Virat Kohli.

At the time this news is being written, England has lost their six wickets on the score of 64 runs in 11.5 overs. Jasprit Bumrah, Yuzvendra Chahal, and senior pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar have scalped two wickets each till now. England still needs 107 runs from 8.1 overs.
