On 27 August, St Kitts Patriots (SKN) took on Barbados Royals (BBR) in the 10th match of the ongoing Caribbean Premier League (CPL) at Basseterre. SKN were looking for their first win as in their first four games, they lost two and got two points from the other two matches as those matches got abandoned due to rain.
On the other hand, BBR were also looking to open their account as in their first two games, they lost one and got one point from one game as that match got abandoned due to rain. But, it was BBR who came out victorious while chasing a 198-run target. But, during SKN’s innings, they managed to hit 34 runs in the last overs and the video of that over went viral.

BBR defeated SKN by 6 wickets in the 10th match of CPL 2023
Speaking of the over, Nyeem Young came up to bowl and he bowled a wide on the first delivery. Then, he went for a six and bowled a no-ball on the second delivery that also went for one run. Then, on the free hit, he conceded four and on the next delivery, he got hit for a six. The fourth delivery was a dot. The fifth delivery also went for a six. But, on the last delivery, first, he bowled a wide and then, he got hit for a six along with a no-ball.
Then, Young got out of the attack after bowling more than two high full-tosses. So, Holder came in and bowled that last ball that went for a single only. Hence, that over went for 34 runs and Patriots managed to reach 197 runs for six wickets in 20 overs. But, in reply, BBR skipper Rovman Powell scored 67* runs off 29 balls, including five fours and five sixes as they chased down the target in 18.3 overs with six wickets in hand. Qais Ahmad won the Player of the Match award.
