WATCH: Shikhar Dhawan flaunts dance moves on 'Leo' film's 'Naa Ready' song

Shikhar Dhawan is known for his love for dancing. While he is away from competitive cricket, the aggressive batter was seen flaunting his dance moves to the popular song ‘Naa Ready’ from the ‘Leo’ movie. The video went viral in no time and has been doing rounds on social media gathering much attention from fans.

Reactions included a funny comment from Yuzvendra Chahal as well. Reacting to Dhawan’s latest post on Instagram, he wrote, "What a birthday gift shikhi bhaiya @shikhardofficial big chumma issi baat par." (Big kiss for this video.) In reply, Dhawan wrote, "Tere liye jaan bhi haazir hain bhai." (Anything for you, my brother.)

Will Shikhar Dhawan feature in the ODI World Cup 2023 squad?

The last time Shikhar Dhawan was involved in competitive action it was in the recently-concluded Indian Premier League 2023. He led the Punjab Kings in the lucrative franchise league. However, the Kings could not make any headway in the season after failing to qualify for the Playoffs. Following the IPL, he has not been involved in any competitive action. It was speculated that he would be leading India in the Asian Games 2022 in Hangzhou, China. However, the squads were recently released and Ruturaj Gaikwad was named the captain of a relatively young side.

However, Shikhar Dhawan left out of the Asian Games squad could actually be a blessing in disguise for the left-hander. The players selected for the Asian Games are not in contention for playing in the ODI World Cup given the World Cup will already start by the time the Asian Games get over. It could possibly mean that Shikhar Dhawan has been preserved by the selectors to increase their options. That being said, his chances of getting back to the team are slim and his fate remains to be seen.
