On 23 July 2023, the 11th match of the ongoing Major League Cricket (MLC) took place in Morrisville between Washington Freedom (WSH) and San Francisco Unicorns (SF). WSH were looking to continue their winning momentum as they won all of their first three games. While SF were looking for their second win of the tournament.
However, WSH’s unbeaten run came to an end as SF defeated them by 30 runs. Saurabh Netravalkar won the Player of the Match award for his exceptional bowling figures of six wickets for just nine runs in 3.5 overs. But, from that match, a video went viral where Sourav produced two magical deliveries in the same over to dismiss Marcus Stoinis and Shadab Khan.

After winning the toss, SF asked WSH to bat first
Speaking of the video, the incident took place during the fourth over of WSH’s innings. On the fourth delivery of that over, Saurabh bowled an inswinging delivery from round the wicket and it castled the Australia star all-rounder. The ball hit the middle stump and the stump went cartwheeling. Then, on the last delivery of the same over, he bowled another vicious inswinger and that also bamboozled Pakistan star all-rounder Shadab Khan. His stumps also got uprooted and on both occasions, the batters were left stunned.
Speaking of the match, the SF skipper, Aaron Finch won the toss and opted to bowl first. Then, WSH scored 133 runs for eight wickets in 20 overs. In reply, SF got bundled out for 103 runs in 19.5 overs. During the post-match presentation ceremony, Saurabh thanked the fielders to support him with some brilliant catches on the field. He said: "Not sunk yet. Feeling very blessed to get this opportunity. The team has created a great environment and I am enjoying it. We fight till the end, I didn't think about hattrick and was trying to bowl my best balls, got support from the fielders, some brilliant catches by Glenn."
