It was another challenging day on the field for Pakistan not only in bowling but also in fielding. The Men in Green are currently up against Australia in Perth for the first Test of the three-match series. Apart from David Warner's scintillating century, Pakistan's fielding blunders also grabbed attention on Day 1. The visitors' fielding challenges were again on display as they missed several chances to dismiss Aussie batters.

Their fielding woes started in the 16th over when Abdullah Shafique dropped a sitter of opening batter Usman Khawaja. Debutant pacer Aamir Jamal managed to get the top edge of Khawaja, who tried to go for the pull shot. Shafique at first slip got into a good position in time but failed to track the ball's trajectory and ended up leaving a gap between his hands and body.

Next up was bowling all-rounder Khurram Shahzad's chance to squander an easy chance. Star of the day, David Warner achieved his 26th Test century with an aggressive style of batting. He was never in trouble but was relieved on 104 when Shahzad couldn't hold onto a catch above his head at mid-on. Agha Salman tempted Warner to go for a big hit and the batter got what he wanted as the fielder failed to stay alert.

Salman gave another opportunity for Pakistan to dismiss Warner when he was on 141. The right-arm spinner delivered a ball outside off, with plenty of turn, grip, and bounce. Warner failed to connect with the bat and he found himself out of the crease. Wicketkeeper Sarfaraz Ahmed had a great opportunity to stump him, but he failed to cleanly gather the ball.

The ball, however, landed in the hands of Babar Azam at first slip. The former Pakistan skipper attempted a run-out but the throw was off target, allowing Warner to take a single. Videos of Pakistan's fielding blunders have gone viral on social media which has become an amusement for cricket fans.
