Watch: Sachin Tendulkar rescues an injured bird

Sachin Tendulkar is not only known for what he did on the field but also off-field. He always stands for a cause and does the right to society. Be it a small gesture or a bigger one, Sachin is always up for it.

The former Indian batter shared a video on Instagram in which he is seen rescuing an injured bird. Another man is also seen in the video helping the bird drink some water. The veteran cricketer then fed the bird some grains and tried to figure out what was wrong with the bird. The bird had injured its left leg.

"A little care and affection can go a long way to make our world an even better place," read the caption of the video. The video has almost reached 130,000 likes in a day.

Recently, the former cricketer was upset with a casino that used an edited image of him to promote their business. He also stated that he will take legal action against the casino.

Meanwhile, the veteran cricketer has been very busy with the projects he has undertaken post his retirement. The latest is his tie-up with Unacademy. He will be teaching cricket on 'Cricket with Sachin' for Unacademy Icons.
