Sachin Tendulkar is one of the very few cricketers who has no haters. The legendary Indian cricketer bid farewell to the game years ago but still enjoys a huge fan following. Tendulkar recently shared a post on his social media handle where the batting maestro had a delightful encounter with his long-time fan on the road.
A Tendulkar fan, who was on his way on a busy road on a scooter, was surprised by his idol himself after seeing the text on the fan's t-shirt. The fan was spotted wearing Mumbai Indians number 10 jersey with 'I miss you' imprinted on the back. Delighted by his love for him, the former India cricketer decided to follow his fan and stop his vehicle to give him the biggest surprise a fan can get.
In a video posted on X (formerly known as Twitter), the 50-year-old can be seen interacting with the guy, taking pictures and giving autographs. The fan was overwhelmed by his favorite cricketer's heartwarming gesture and Tendulkar couldn't resist uploading the heartwarming video on social media.
"Sachin meets TENDULKAR. It fills my heart with joy when I see so much love showered on me. It is the love from the people that keeps coming from unexpected corners which makes life so special," Tendulkar wrote.

Tendulkar was last seen in on-field action at the One World One Family Cup tournament in Bengaluru last month. In a high-scoring encounter at the Sai Krishnan Cricket Stadium, Tendulkar's One World defeated Yuvraj Singh's One Family by four wickets. Tendulkar gave his fans a nostalgic ride by picking up a wicket and scoring 27 off 16 balls.
He was dismissed by Sri Lankan spin maestro Muttiah Muralitharan while trying to hit over the long-on boundary. Tendulkar will be with Mumbai Indians in the role of mentor in the 2024 Indian Premier League (IPL).
