Watch: Rohit Sharma gives trophy tour to baby Samaira, shows all titles won by Mumbai

The fifteenth edition of the Indian T20 league is all set to start on March 26. Teams have already started their preparations for the toughest T20 league in the world. As for Mumbai, they will be hoping that they can win their sixth title this time around.

Their captain Rohit Sharma led them to a series victory against Sri Lanka on Monday. Hours after which, he reached Mumbai in order to prepare for the 2022 edition. It is to be noted that the opener left Bangalore, and landed in Mumbai on Monday night.

The official social media handle posted a video of Sharma reaching the team hotel. They took to Instagram to share a very sweet video of the Mumbai skipper and his daughter Samaira arriving in the hotel. His wife Ritika Sajdeh was seen in the background as well.

After he checked into the hotel, Sharma was seen giving his daughter a tour of the five trophies won by Mumbai, that were displayed at the entrance. Thus, the video instantly became viral. Several fans found it really heartwarming. Some fans pointed out the fact that the "Hitman" was quick to join his franchise, as he was playing an international game on the very same day.

It is to be noted that Mumbai's first match of this edition shall be against Delhi, and it will take place on March 27 at the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai. The Sharma-led side looks like a formidable team on paper. However, all eyes will be on their keeper-batter Ishan Kishan, who was bought back for a whopping price of INR 15.25 crore.

As their captain is yet to lose a match as India's captain in 2022, the Mumbai fans would hope that he replicates the same for his franchise as well. If the franchise are to have a good season, then a lot will depend on the likes of Jasprit Bumrah, Suryakumar Yadav, Kieron Pollard.
