"Ek ka naam lete hai toh doosre ko acha nahi lagta. Doosre ka lete hai toh teesre ko acha nahi lagta. Saare hi ache hai (If I will take one player's name, the second will feel bad. If I will take the second players' name, then the third will feel bad. I think all of them are good)," Rohit added.

Rohit's litmus test will be at the World Cup which will take place on home soil. Under his leadership, India failed to lift the T20 World Cup in Australia in 2022. They also failed to get the World Test Championship final which took place at the Oval against Australia. India lost to the Kangaroos by 209 runs. The 36-year-old has reached the last phase of his career and so he will be looking to end on a big high. Rohit was not part of the 2022 World Cup squad.
