The much-awaited high-octane encounter between India and Pakistan started with the first over from senior Indian pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar. Before the start of the match, both teams came in the field for their national anthems, respectively. Pakistan’s national anthem started first followed by India’s anthem.

Speaking of the match, India has got a brilliant start as Arshdeep Singh scalped the wicket of Babar Azam on the very first ball of his 20-20 World Cup career. The skipper has gone on the golden duck in the high-octane clash against India. On the other hand, Bhuvneshwar Kumar conceded only 1 run in his first over along with Arshdeep who conceded five runs and also scaped a big wicket in his first over.
At the time this news is being written, Pakistan has scored 6 runs for the loss of one wicket in two overs with Mohammad Rizwan and Shan Masood there in the middle.
Notably, this is the 14th match between both teams in World Cups. India is dominating the rivalry with a handsome scoreline of 12-1 after a loss against Pakistan in last year’s World Cup.
