In an exclusive statement posted on Delhi Capitals Instagram handle, Rishabh Pant gave an update on his fitness. “I am feeling much better than what I was a few months ago. I am still on the road to recovery and hopefully, in a few months, I will be able to play”
The 26-year-old has missed an entire year of cricket and Team India and its fans dearly missed Rishabh Pant. It was confirmed that Pant will be playing as an impact player during IPL 2024. Both the Indian Cricket Board and Delhi Capitals do not want to burden him as he starts to get back to cricket.
The youngster was also touched by the love he has got from the fans so far. “I think it’s been really amazing because whenever we keep on playing cricket, we feel no one loves us because there is pressure in so many things. But yes, it was a hard time. But I got to know at least people love us. They respect us and kind of appreciation and concern I would say people have shown over the period of time during my injury, it means a lot to me”
