Team India captain Rohit Sharma was spotted leaving the Mumbai airport on Thursday for Bangladesh, where he will meet up with the rest of his teammates in Dhaka. He was photographed by paparazzi at the airport, and his interaction with them has gone viral on social media.
India will face Bangladesh in a three-match ODI series as well as a two-match Test series, which will be their final assignment of 2022. Following the Men in Blue's 10-wicket loss to England in the semifinals of the 20-20 World Cup 2022, senior players such as Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, and others were rested, while others were named to the New Zealand tour squad.
The majority of the senior players have returned for the Bangladesh tour, and Indian players jetted off for Bangladesh on Thursday ahead of the first ODI on December 4 in Dhaka. While Virat Kohli shared a selfie from the flight with Umesh Yadav and Cheteshwar Pujara, Rohit had an interaction with the paparazzi.
As he arrived at the airport, the paparazzi wished Rohit luck for the Bangladesh tour. As they took pictures of him, he asked, "Kya karte ho tum log aisa photo lekar," to which the paparazzi replied, "sir ye hamari duty hai." He appeared amused by the response, and later Rohit was seen leaving the airport for Dhaka, and his interaction with the paparazzi has gone viral.
