The advent of the Decision Review System (DRS) has taken the game to another level. Earlier the on-field umpires and the third umpires (only in case of run-outs and stumpings), the decisions given on-field used to be the final ones. This led to a lot of wrong decisions over the years in tons of games. Not to forget, some of the LBW dismissals that used to be missed due to doubts are now being given out.
Also, the on-field now need to be more careful as they are more scrutinized. However, this had led to correct decisions and the players' careers going better. Also, the fans have been getting a better experience as poor decisions in the past led to the effigy burning of Mark Benson and Steve Bucknor after the infamous Sydney Test in 2008.
Meanwhile, some kids in Pakistan have recreated the DRS in their own way. They played the game inside their home, with the umpire wearing a pan on his head. The batter, looking much older than the kids, was rapped on the pads. However, he was given not out. Those kids, even imitated the deliberation among the players regarding the DRS and 'decided to send it upstairs.
In the end, the ball missed the bat as shown in the replays. Also, as they didn't have the Hawkeye to check the ball trajectory, they decided to bowl the ball again to recreate the Hawkeye. As shown in the video, the ball was clearly hitting the stumps and the umpire had to reverse his decision.
