Emulating MS Dhoni is not something that can be done by every other player. What the legendary keeper-batter has achieved is very difficult to achieve. Talking about his wicketkeeping, he used to have the fastest hands behind the stumps. One mistake by the batter and his was stumped in a spur of a moment. One such thing has been done by Sri Lanka's Niroshan Dickwella in the ongoing Test against Pakistan.
The incident happened in the second innings with the visitors chasing the target of 342 to win. Openers Imam Ul Haq and Abdullah Shafique gave a great start as they stitched a partnership of 87 runs. Ramesh Mendis came to bowl the 29th over and managed to beat the bat of Haq. A few seconds later, the left-hander lift his back foot for a fraction of a second. Seeing the opportunity, wicketkeeper batter Dickwella affected a stumping.
The video of this was uploaded by Grassroots cricket. In the caption, they have pointed out whether it is the right way to dismiss a batter.

Meanwhile, the dismissal was referred to the third umpire and he adjudged it as out after watching multiple replays. Talking about the ongoing game, Babar Azam's men are in a comfortable position in the fourth innings. At the time of writing, they have scored 205-3 with Shafique and Mohammad Rizwan batting together. A while after Imam got out, Azhar Ali once again failed to score significantly and was trapped lbw by Prabhat Jayasuriya.
At this stage, it looked like Pakistan could have had a batting collapse, something for which they are notoriously famous. However, the skipper and Shafique ensured that the chase goes well up to this point. The latter went on to score yet another Test hundred. On the other hand, Babar Azam, who scored his seventh hundred in the first innings, completed 3000 Test runs during his ongoing innings. The right-hander was dismissed for 55.
