On 15 July 2023, Washington Freedom took on Seattle Orcas in the third game of the ongoing Major League Cricket (MLC) in Grand Prairie. Both teams were looking for a winning start to their campaign. However, it was Seattle Orcas who won the game by five wickets. Imad Wasim won the Player of the Match award for his all-round contribution.
But, from the match, a video went viral where Moises Henriques was seen with a magical delivery to rattle the stumps of Heinrich Klaasen. The incident took place on the second delivery of the eight over of Orcas’ innings. The ball moved into the stumps a bit after pitching and it went through the defence of Klaasen. The Protea batter looked absolutely clueless.

But, it was Imad Wasim who smashed 43* runs off 38 balls, including three fours and one six and finished the game. After this win, they are now in the third spot with a net run rate of +0.325.
During the post-match presentation, Washington Freedom skipper, Henriques said: “It was a good game of cricket. It was the third game on that wicket and it was just starting to show a bit of up-and-down (characteristics). (Did the conditions change under lights) When I was batting, there were a few that were starting to keep low. It definitely got easier as the ball got older. When the ball was new and hard, there was more variable bounce. We fought our way to mid-140s. If we had held our chances, we had our moments to win the game.”
