KL Rahul-led Indian team and Bangladesh are facing off in the second Test that kicked off December 14, Wednesday and Day 2 turned out to be a great one for team India as they managed to put on 404 runs on the board, on the back of Cheteshwar Pujara’s 90 and Shreyas Iyer’s 86 and eventually bounce back with the ball as well.
Eventually, it was Mohammed Siraj who stood up for the team as the pacer kept picking up wickets in regular intervals eventually reducing 97/6 in no time. As things stand, there were many moments to take away from the day and Litton Das’ wicket was one of the moments that turned out to be the most hilarious one.
To add more, a few deliveries before falling for Siraj, Das reacted to the sledging from the pacer in a way showing that he was not able to hear what was the right-armer saying. Much to the surprise of the Indian fans, it was Siraj who picked up the wicket of Das and eventually, the pacer gave sweet revenge by reacting the same way Das reacted earlier, joining hands with Indian superstar Virat Kohli.

Mohammed Siraj, Kuldeep Yadav shine in first Test
Eventually, as far as India’s bowling is concerned, it was Siraj and Kuldeep Yadav who kept the Bangla Tigers on their toes. To add more, Najmul Hossain Shanto perished on the very first ball of the innings and the likes of Zakir Hasan, Yasir Ali, Das and Shakib Al Hasan made their way back to the dressing room in quick succession.
While Siraj picked up a three-for, Kuldeep, on the other hand, as many wickets as the right-arm pacer and put the Bangla Tigers on the back foot early in their first innings. Trailing by 302 runs, Bangladesh were reeling at 102/7 and it remained to be seen if they would make a strong comeback in the game, given that it was highly unlikely against a strong pace attack in the Indian camp.
