Hyderabad began their Indian T20 League 2022 campaign with back-to-back defeats. The Netizens were pretty quick to lash out at the management for releasing the players such as David Warner and Rashid Khan. However, little did they know that the team would go on to register four consecutive wins, thereafter.
Kane Williamson and Co. have not lost a single game in their last four matches. With 4 wins in 6 games, Hyderabad currently find themselves at number five on the points table. Heading into their 7th game against Bangalore, they would be looking to extend their winning streak.
The mood in the camp is pretty good and why wouldn’t it be. Recently, Hyderabad uploaded a video on its Twitter handle, in which the likes of Kane Williamson, Aiden Markram, Abdul Samad, and Glenn Phillips have formed a ‘Boy Band.’
The four members have apparently formed a new band and also sung a special song for the franchise. The Sunrisers Hyderabad Twitter account posted the video of their band unveiling their anthem song.
“The new #SRH band , A special song from Kane Mama and co. at SunRisers Got Talent.” The franchise captioned the Tweet.
In the video, Kane Williamson can be seen playing the guitar and also introduced his squad and called it as, “The Hydera-boogie”. The four-member squad sung a song, where they acknowledged the contributions of the past and present cricketers of the team by taking their names one by one.

They also highlighted that the fans of the franchise are proudly called as the ‘Orange Army’ and how much they love eating Biryani. The band concluded the song by thanking the contributions of all medical staff members, management, and the net bowlers for their contribution.
Coming back to their on-field performances, Hyderabad are looking like a team to beat. They registered a comfortable 7-wicket win over Punjab in their last game. Hyderabad restricted Punjab to 151 runs in the first innings before chasing the total down in 18.5 overs.
