Cricket is a game that is played with intensity with both teams trying to win against each other. However, there have been numerous instances where the fans got a reason to laugh. One such instance happened in the third ODI between England and the Netherlands on June 22. The Three Lions needed 33 runs in 128 balls and van Meekeren bowled a double-bounce ball to Jos Buttler, a video on which is going viral on social media.

Meekeren tried to bowl a slower ball but it went wrong horribly. The ball pitched outside the pitch halfway down the wicket. It bounced two times before reaching Jos Buttler. The right-hander didn't show any mercy and hit it for a six towards the long-leg boundary. According to the rules, it was given a no-ball with the ball pitching outside the wicket and bounced two times.

Talking about the game, it was nothing different from the first two ODIs. The only difference was England skipper Eoin Morgan not playing the game. Buttler was leading the team in Morgan's absence. Apart from that, the Blue Brigade dominated the opposition like the first two games. After winning the toss, they asked the hosts to bat first and restricted them to 244.

However, at one stage, the Scott Edwards-led side looked like going past 300 runs as they were 203/3 in 39.5 overs. However, losing fourth wicket at the end of the 40th over proved to a be a turning point. They lost six wickets for 41 runs. Max O'Dowd (50), Bas de Leede (56), and Edwards (64) had scored fifties and had provided a good start. For England, David Willey took four wickets, Brydon Carse took two, while Liam Livinsgtone, Adil Rashid, and debutant David Payne took one each.

In reply, the visistors chased down the target in just 30.1 overs with eight wickets in hand. Jason Roy scored his first hundred of the series and remained not out and Buttler scored unbeaten 86 and finished the game for the team.
