Earning the nickname 'Universal Boss' for his exploits on the cricket field for over two decades, except when facing the bowlers, Christopher Henry Gayle has always shown his lighter side both on and off the field. In a similar incident, the West Indies power-hitter's kind heart was witnessed when he surprised the Jamaican locals at a fuel station.
In a video that has gone viral on social media, Gayle, dressed in casual attire, can be seen paying the gas bills of everyone who visited the Texaco Gas Station in Portmore, Jamaica, that day. "It's your lucky day today," the former Windies opener could be heard saying in the video. "It's on me today," he tells a customer who arrived to fill up her car's fuel tank.
Gayle was seen taking selfies with some of the visitors as the locals were surprised not only to see one of the great cricketers but also to pay their bills. The video has caught the attention of the cricket fraternity and fans are appreciating the 'Boss'' kind gesture.
