Ishan Kishan is currently busy playing the ongoing five-match T20I series in West Indies. Before that, he made his Test debut and played the ODI series during this same tour. Ishan had a great three-match ODI series against the Windies as he smashed three consecutive fifty-plus scores. He also won the Player of the Series award for scoring 184 runs. So, fans were hoping to score him big in the first T20I also.
But, he failed as Ishan scored only six runs off nine balls. But, a video has now gone viral where Ishan Kishan was found giving an instant reply to the former Team India cricketer, Aakash Chopra when the latter called the former that he is not MS Dhoni over a stumping dismissal. The video seemed to be from a match from the ODI series.

Speaking of the video, the young wicketkeeper was seen completing a stumping to a Windies batter and it seemed that the Men in Blue went for a review regarding that dismissal. Regarding that, Aakash Chopra was talking on air along with RP Singh and Nikhil Chopra. So, he said that the legs of the batter were still on the crease and the Team India wicketkeeper might have been late. So, he said that although Ishan you are from Ranchi but you are not MS Dhoni.
Aakash said: “It’s very rare that you review the stumping and run-out dismissal. So far, I am seeing the feet on the ground. You can come from Ranchi, but your name is not MS Dhoni.” Somehow, Ishan heard that from the stump mic and said: “Ha, fir thik hai. (Then it’s okay)”. In reply to that, Aakash said: “How sweet Ishan. We love you.”
After winning the Player of the series award, Ishan said: "Actually not so happy with the finish I gave. These wickets that we played on, I was supposed to score big. That's what I was told by my senior players that I have to get big runs, that's what makes normal players good players. Next time I will try to get big runs. I think it's important to be consistent. You have to forget about the last game and start from zero, just look at the ball and play and take it one match at a time.”
