Mega Stars League is underway in Pakistan having six franchise teams including both current and former cricketers of Pakistan. Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium of Punjab’s Rawalpindi is hosting this league. Meanwhile, former legendary Pak skipper Inzamam-Ul-Haq was also a center of attention as he was appearing for Karachi Knights under the captaincy of his former fellow teammate and former national skipper of national team Shahid Afridi.

Inzamam-Ul-Haq went on to score on a quick knock of 29 runs off just 16 balls. The shots played by Inzamam gave a recall to his vintage shots that he used to hit when he was active in international cricket for the men in green.

The 52-year-old showed his brilliance with some brilliant sweep shots, cuts, drives, and pulls that were known to be attached to his handsome batting style. The video of Inzamam’s batting glimpse is now making rounds on social media.

The Karachi Knights were playing their second match in which Inzamam played alongside some renowned faces of Pakistan cricket. He scored 29 runs off 16 deliveries. Subsequently, the former batting prodigy got retired hurt. Earlier in the league, Inzamam smashed a quick knock of 31 runs off just 14 balls in the match against Lahore Maharajas.

Speaking of the illustrious international career of the former legend, he hung his boots from international cricket 15 years back in the year 2007 following Pakistan’s embarrassing exit from the ODI World Cup. Later on, he also served as the coach of Afghanistan’s national team followed by a stint as a selector of the national team for Pakistan.

The Multan-born dashing batter played a total of 120 Tests and 378 ODIs to score more than 20,000 international runs.
