Love proposals are arguably one of the best sights. It gets more iconic when they take place during a cricket match. Over the years, there have been several instances where a boy has gone on to propose to his girlfriend in the stands, during a live game.
The recent game between Bangalore and Chennai in the Indian T20 League 2022 saw something similar. However, there was a twist this time around. It was the girl who went down on her knees to propose to her boyfriend. Fans at the MCA stadium in Pune were fortunate enough to witness this special moment. During the second innings of the game, the cameraman was quick to capture this unique proposal.
The boy and girl were presumably Bangalore fans. It is to be noted that the crowd around them were seemingly watching this proposal. A few fans were seen recording it as well. The video of this lovely moment then went viral on social media. Thus, in what happened to be a cracker of a game, this love proposal turned out to be a perfect one for the couple.

As far as the match is concerned, Bangalore beat Chennai by 13 runs. This victory comes as a huge sigh of relief for the Faf du Plessis-led side as they had earlier lost three consecutive games. Bangalore's bowlers were simply too good as they hardly gave the Chennai batters any breathing space.
Thus, skipper Du Plessis was a happy man during the post-match presentation. While being relieved, he appreciated his bowlers. The Proteas batter drew light on the game, and stated that they need to continue this positive brand of cricket.
"We definitely needed that. We put up a decent total. We are moving in the right direction. We have been very good in the bowling department. I thought 165 was a par score on that and anything above that was a bonus. I thought the Powerplay was a good time to score. The fielding was amazing. Some great catching and good bowling indeed.
We are very lucky to have experienced guys. Very good to have me lean on the senior players. Just keep improving in the batting department. We want one of the top four to bat through. Need to keep playing the positive brand of cricket. Once you get an opportunity to think of the run rate in a match, you will be able to put on the gas and go for it," said Faf du Plessis.
