Former India cricketer Gautam Gambhir has shared a video on his social media handles which shows a person resembling World Cup-winning captain Kapil Dev being manhandled by two people. The person in the video has his hands tied and his mouth strapped with a piece of cloth. Gambhir shared the video and raised concerns about Kapil Dev's well-being.
While nothing can be confirmed as of now, fans on social media are claiming it to be an advertisement. The fans have also blasted the ad companies for stooping so low for views. Notably, celebrities have done such acts many times before as well. At first, images of them getting into trouble go viral and later it is revealed that the act was a part of an advertisement.
The former India cricketer also took to Twitter and informed about the incident. "Anyone else received this clip, too? Hope it's not actually @therealkapildev and that Kapil Paaji is fine! "

Gambhir backs Pakistan skipper Babar Azam to set World Cup on fire
Former Indian opener Gautam Gambhir has praised Pakistan's captain, Babar Azam, stating that he has the potential to shine in the ICC World Cup 2023. Babar currently holds the top rank in ODI batting and is one of the few players to be in the top 10 rankings across all three formats. While he's third in T20Is, behind India's Suryakumar Yadav and teammate Mohammad Rizwan, he stands fourth in Test rankings, led by New Zealand's Kane Williamson.
Despite making his international debut later than players like Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, David Warner, Joe Root, and Steve Smith, Babar Azam has rapidly risen through the ranks and is now considered by many as the best batter across formats. Gambhir, sharing this sentiment, emphasized that Babar's exceptional abilities set him apart.
Gambhir compared Babar to renowned batters like Kohli, Rohit, Warner, Root, and Williamson, affirming that Babar Azam possesses unique qualities and has the potential to make a significant impact in the upcoming World Cup 2023.
