WATCH: Fire breaks out at Dubai International Cricket Stadium before India-Afghanistan match, situation in control as of now

In a shocking piece of news for all cricket fans, there is a major fire breakdown that happened outside the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. It is the same venue where India and Afghanistan are supposed to play their last match of the super-4 round of the Asia Cup 2022. Although, it has been controlled by the fire brigade and the concerned authorities.

The fumes of the fire could have been seen inside the stadium. All it happened at the office which was designed as a makeshift place outside the stadium. As of further developments in the process, it has been learned by the sources that there will not be any delay in the match and both teams have arrived at the stadium to continue their pre-match practice sessions and other routines.

India and Afghanistan have been knocked out of the Asia Cup 2022

Talking about the cricket and Asia Cup 2022, Both Afghanistan and India have been eliminated from the tournament. This match will only be a column filler for both the teams as they will be eyeing on to finish their campaign in the tournament with a win. Afghanistan and Pakistan locked horns yesterday in a nail-biting thriller at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. The match witnessed all the possible events that could or couldn’t have happened there. From Asif Ali’s on-field fight with the Afghanistan pacer to the ugly scenes in the stands of the stadium where Afghanistan fans ended up beating Pakistani spectators after the loss.

Discussing the match, then batting first, the Afghan side posted a low total of 129 for the loss of six wickets in the allotted 20 overs. While chasing the target, Pakistan went through a roller coaster ride and the match turned into a thriller when Pakistan needed 11 runs off the last six balls.

But young pacer and number 11 batter Naseem Shah smashed two consecutive sixes to seal the victory for his team by a very low margin of one wicket.
