India and South Africa locked horns with each other in the third and final of the three-match ODI series. Both teams played this match at Holkar Stadium in Indore on Tuesday, 4th of October. Indian skipper Rohit Sharma won the toss and asked the visitors to bat first at the batting-friendly turf of Holkar Stadium.
Apart from the action of the match, an unhealthy moment also from the match has also caught the attention of the Indian cricket fans. It all happened Deepak Chahar was in the attack to bowl the 19th over of the innings. In this over, he conceded 24 runs.
In this very over, an error also happened to be upon another India pacer who was fielding in the deep square leg. He did all his efforts to take the catch but eventually, he ended up touching the boundary line and it was declared six by the umpire.
Bowler himself and the skipper Sharma weren’t happy with this error from the speedster on the boundary line. Chahar’s frustration went on to the extent that he ended up abusing Siraj for this flaw in the penultimate over of the South African innings.
Here’s the video:
Siraj didn't realise that he's about to touch the boundary, it was difficult too to control instantly at the moment, but Deepak Chahar abused him.🤢

Speaking of the match, then the South African batters continued their brilliant form in the final match of the series as well. Quinton de Kock provided an amazing start with his knock of 68 runs off 43 balls whereas Rilee Rossouw smashed a blistering century off just 48 balls. At the end of the innings, the last match’s centurion David Miller also scored crucial 19 runs off only five balls.
While chasing the target, the Indian team felt the shortage of their specialist batters including the likes of KL Rahul and Virat Kohli. Eventually, the hosts lost the dead rubber of the series by 49 runs to win the series by 2-1.
