Former side Sunrisers Hyderabad has already named a new skipper ahead of the new season. Aiden Markram has been replaced by Aussie skipper Pat Cummins at the helm of affairs.

The decision was confirmed on Monday morning as the 2016 champions look to add yet another title. The last season under Markram, Hyderabad finished last in the table with 8 points from 14 games.

Coming back to David Warner, the left-handed batter is set to quit international cricket after the T20 World Cup in June. The 37-year-old has already called time on his ODI and Test Career in recent weeks.

Rishabh Pant is also back in the nets in Bengaluru as he looks to get his fitness certificate. Sourav Ganguly had revealed that Pant could be given an all-clear by the NCA as early as the 5th of March. This will be a huge bonus for the Delhi Capitals fans as their favorite son gets set to make his return to the sport.

It will be an exciting season of IPL 2024 as the Delhi Capitals begin their season against Punjab Kings. The two sides along with RCB are the only three sides from the original group of IPL teams yet to win the title.
