The stage was set for an enthralling end to the ongoing 5th Ashes Test at the Oval as Australia needed 249 runs with all 10 wickets in hand. On the other hand, England were looking for a win to level the series. The Aussies had a great end to day four as first, they bundled out England for 395 runs in their second innings. Thus, they were set for a 384-run target.
However, both Usman Khawaja and David Warner gave a solid start to them as they finished the day with 135 runs without any loss of wickets. Both the batters were not out after scoring fifties. But, Chris Woakes looked in a great rhythm in the morning session of day five as he sent back both the batters quickly to the dressing room with two outstanding deliveries. The videos went viral and fans went crazy on social media.

Chris Woakes left both the batters stunned
Speaking of the dismissals, on the second delivery of the 42nd over, Woakes bowled a good length ball that went across the Aussie opener. The only thing he managed was an edge and Jonny Bairstow took the catch to complete the dismissal. Then, on the second delivery of the 44th over, Woakes appealed for an LBW against Khawaja. It was a fuller-length delivery that hit plumb in front of the middle and leg. The batter was found caught in the crease and the on-field umpire also gave him out.
Khawaja went for a review but that also got wasted as it was three reds. Hence, along with a review, Australia lost Khawaja and suddenly they were from 140 runs for no loss to 141 runs for two wickets. Warner scored 60 runs off 106 balls, including nine fours while Khawaja scored 72 runs off 145 balls, including eight fours. However, after 49 overs, they lost Marnus Labuschagne also for just 13 runs as Mark Wood took the wicket. Then, they were on 169 runs while needing 215 runs with seven wickets in hand.
