Former Pakistan captains Sarfaraz Ahmed and Babar Azam were in a festive mood at the Qawwali Night during Imam-ul-Haq's wedding on Friday. Qawwali is a celebration featuring Sufi songs, often performed at festivals and weddings. Babar and Sarfaraz clapped and sang to mark the special occasion at their teammate Imam's wedding. The video from the Qawwali Night has become widely popular on social media.
Many Pakistani cricketers, including Chief Selector and former player Wahab Riaz, attended the Music Night. In addition, in the video, Babar Azam appeared relatively quiet, while Sarfaraz Ahmed was more engaged, clapping to the tune and sporting a cheerful demeanor. Imam-ul-Haq is set to get married to Anmol Mehmood on Saturday, November 25, followed by the Valima reception on the 26th.
There are also several other players who were seen attending the function including, Azhar Ali, Usman Qadir, Mushtaq Ahmed, and Inzamam-ul-Haq. Before the big series of Pakistan tour to Australia, it is essential for the Asian side to take time off from the game. Especially, after the poor performance that the team had in the recently concluded ODI World Cup 2023.

Pakistan to travel to Australia for a three-match Test series
After a disappointing ODI World Cup 2023, the 2017 Champions Trophy winner, Azam relinquished the captaincy for ODIs, T20Is, and Tests. Star pacer Shaheen Shah Afridi and batsman Shan Masood have been appointed as the new skippers. The Chief Selector of Pakistan cricket Wahab Riaz revealed the 18-member Pakistan Test squad for the upcoming tour of Australia. The tour includes three matches scheduled from December 14, 2023, to January 7, 2024. It is also to be kept in mind that the Pakistan team has never won any Test series in Australia until now.
“The squad has been assembled keeping in mind the challenging Australian conditions. We have kept the pitches in mind and added more pace bowling resources to the team to ensure that the management can be flexible with the team combinations in all three Test matches.
