The fans couldn't believe what they saw and took to social media to hail Cummins for his unreal knock. As a matter of fact, several cricketers also spoke about the match. Virender Sehwag took to Twitter to praise the Aussie all-rounder and troll the Mumbai-based franchise. This didn't sit well with the Mumbai fans.

"Moonh se nivala cheen liya ,, sorry vada pav cheen liya. Pat Cummins, one of the most insane display of clean hitting , 15 ball 56 …
Jeera Batti #MIvKKR" read the caption of Virender Sehwag's Tweet. However, some felt that he was taking a dig at Rohit Sharma. They didn't like the fact that he used the term "Vada Pav".

In another Tweet, Sehwag stated that the "Vada Pav" reference was for Mumbai and not Rohit Sharma. He also asked the fans to keep calm. Further on, the legend also stated that he himself is a big fan of the "Hitman".

His clarification then went viral instantly. In the meanwhile, it is to be noted that Mumbai are yet to win a game in this edition.

Sharma himself was disappointed after the completion of the match. He said that this loss was hard to digest. Moreover, he was seemingly frustrated as well. It will be exciting to see if Mumbai do manage to make a comeback this season.
