‘Wah kya scene hai’ - Fans go crazy as a fan proposes and kisses his partner during Day 4 of WTC 2023 final

The action was going on 10 June 2023, day four of the World Test Championship (WTC) final between India and Australia at the Oval. However, the Aussies finished day three with a lead of 296 runs with six wickets in hand. Hence, they were looking to add more runs to take the game away from the Men in Blue. While Rohit Sharma and his men were looking to bundle up the Aussies quickly.

Meanwhile, they declared their second innings at 270 runs for eight wickets. Thus, India got a target of 444 runs to win this ultimate Test match. But, when India came out to bat, during their innings, a fan was seen proposing to his female partner. It seemed that she said yes and he put a ring on her finger as a confirmation. They even were seen having a moment by kissing each other. Other fans went crazy and they congratulated them also. Images and videos went viral as fans also reacted on social media.

The incident occurred during the fifth over of India’s second innings. Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill were natting while Pat Cummins was bowling that over. Speaking of the match, India had a good start to day four as Umesh Yadav struck early by taking the wicket of Marnus Labuschagne. He scored 41 runs off 126 balls, including four boundaries. Then, Ravindra Jadeja took the wicket of Cameron Green as he scored 25 runs off 95 balls, including four boundaries. 

Then, Mitchell Starc and Alex Carey put up a partnership of 93 runs for the seventh wicket. Finally, Starc got out after scoring 41 runs off 57 balls, including seven fours as Mohammed Shami took the wicket. Then, Cummins added only five runs before getting out as Australia declared at 270 runs for eight wickets. Thus, they set a target of 444 runs for India with more than four sessions to go in the final.
