Shubman Gill is currently busy playing the ongoing three-match T20I series in New Zealand for team India. Hower, the first match of the series got abandoned in Wellington due to heavy rain. Then, he failed to get a place in the playing XI of the second match. But, Gill has enjoyed a great year with the bat for the Men in Blue.

He won the player of the series award in both the ODI series in Zimbabwe and the West Indies. Now, he has the chance to make his debut in the shortest format of the game for India. Meanwhile, a video has gone viral where the star Indian batter was seen talking about the recent controversy between Rishabh Pant and the Bollywood actress Urvashi Rautela.

Recently, Gill attended Preeti and Neeti Simoe’s Punjabi chat show, Dil Diyan Gallan. In that show, the host asked him about the recent controversy around Rishabh Pant and Urvashi Rautela. In response to that Gill said that Rishabh Pant has shown no interest. Her activities don't affect him at all. Urvashi actually wants someone to make fun of her.

In the same show, Gill opened up regarding the dating rumours with the Bollywood actress Sara Ali Khan. The reporter asked the star batter about his preferred fittest Bollywood actress. In reply, Gill responded: “Sara.” When he was asked about the dating rumours with Sara, Gill said: “Maybe.” The host said: “Sara ka sara sach bolo.” In reply to that, Gill blushed and replied: “Sara da sara sach bol diya. Maybe, maybe not.”

Speaking of Rishabh Pant, he had another failure with the bat in T20Is for team India. In the second match of the ongoing T20I series, Pant scored just six runs off 13 balls, including only one four. However, India scored 191 runs for six wickets in 20 overs. In reply, the Kiwis got bundled out for 126 runs in 18.5 overs. Suryakumar Yadav won the player of the match award for scoring 111* runs off 51 balls, including 11 fours and seven sixes.
