Pakistan has always been a country that has been alleged with match-fixing claims over different players from different eras. But, that country always looks to put blame on its fierce rival India. Now, in a recent interaction, the former Pakistani batter, Hasan Raza said that team India are associated with match-fixing allegations for many years.

He said: “Many Indian players did match-fixing, Indian T20 League had match-fixing cases as well and their players were caught too. India has always been involved in match-fixing, they have a history of it”. Listening to that, fans went berserk and shared their views on the social media platform.

Match-fixing allegations have always been in the headlines in the Pakistan cricket

Speaking about the international career of Hasan Raza, he made his debut in 1996 and played his last match in 2005. Raza played seven Tests while scoring 235 runs in 10 innings. He smashed two fifties in the red-ball format. Apart from that, he played 16 ODIs while scoring 242 runs in 13 innings. Raza smashed one fifty-plus score in the 50-over format. Pakistan has always been in the headlines in terms of match-fixing allegations. In 2010, Mohammad Amir, Salman Butt, and Mohammad Asif got involved in match-fixing. In PSL, six players got suspended by the Pakistan Cricket Board in 2017. So, it was quite surprising for gans to see such comments from a former cricketer of the Men in Green.

Apart from these, Raza came up with some funny statements as well. He shared that a Bollywood movie in India was inspired by his real-life story. Raza said: "Bollywood movie Chain Kulii Ki Main Kulii was inspired by my real-life story". He also heaped praise on Babar Azam by saying: “Babar Azam was a ball-picker, tournament organisers did not allow him to even play Ramadan Cricket in Karachi and now he is a legend, he is world-class and the world acknowledges his class".
