Rishabh Pant, the Indian wicketkeeper, met with a scary accident on December 30, 2022, and the batter was shifted to Mumbai with the Indian cricket board taking care of all of the expenses for further treatment. It is a known fact that the southpaw and the Bollywood actress Urvashi Rautela are at loggerheads following an interview with Bollywood Hungama where the actress spoke about an anonymous person named ‘RP’.

The duo was involved in a war of words on social media and one has to agree that Pant refrained from coming up with replies, although the actress has been teasing him, she wished him a speedy recovery soon after he met with an accident, on her Instagram account although she refrained from tagging the Indian batter directly. 

“Rishabh will undergo surgery and subsequent procedures for ligament tears and will continue to be monitored by the Indian cricket board Medical Team throughout his recovery and rehabilitation. The Board will make every effort to aid and expedite the recovery process of Rishabh and will provide him with all the support he needs during this period,” the Indian cricket board said in its statement on January 4, Wednesday.

Much to the surprise of the Indian fans, Rautela uploaded the picture of the hospital where Pant is getting treated at present and the fans left no stone unturned to slam the actress claiming that she was hungry for attention earlier and still continues to be, despite the unfortunate situation of the left-handed batter. 

Pant, on the other hand, would hope to return to the field at the earliest and make a comeback with the bat for team India. Given that India are yet to find a proper replacement for the southpaw, fans opine that it might be KS Bharat in the longest format of the game, although it is unclear when it comes to the white-ball format.
