The 34-year-old senior Indian test specialist batter Cheteshwar Pujara is stunning the cricketing fraternity with his sensational form in limited-overs cricket. He is now smashing runs with brilliant form in the ongoing Royal London One Day Cup in England. Experts and fans usually label him as a Test batter but the way he has performed in the RLODC recently is really shocking to everyone.
The veteran batter has smashed 614 runs in just eight matches with a phenomenal average of 102.44. Apart from that, he has scored three centuries in the last five matches which led his team into the semi-finals of the tournament. Notably, Pujara is also the captain of Sussex currently and is leading the team by setting great examples with his performance.
Although, the purple patch of Pujara brought some bad taste for former Indian skipper and senior batter Virat Kohli. Actually, Virat is enduring a poor run of form with the bat so fans started trolling him after looking at the stunning performances from Pujara in the ongoing season.
Here's how fans trolled Virat Kohli after the heroics of Cheteshwar Pujara:
Top contender for number 3 in place of out of form kohli

Other than his batting brilliance in the ongoing Royal London Cup, Pujara had also scored more than 1,000 runs in just 13 innings with an outstanding average of 109.40 in Division Two of the County Championship earlier this year.
Recently, he smashed a century off just 75 balls and played an amazing knock of 132 runs off 90 balls. His knock led the Sussex to post a massive total of 400 runs on the board. Eventually, the Pujara-led team went into the semi-finals with an emphatic win in this match.
Pujara has also surpassed Virat Kohli and Pakistani skipper Babar Azam in terms of the highest batting average in List A cricket with a minimum number of 100 innings. Currently, the right-hander is only behind former Australian legend Michael Bevan. Pujara has an average of 57.48 whereas Bevan scored runs with an average of 57.86.
Talking about Virat and Babar then they have averages of 56.60 and 56.56 respectively.
