India and Mumbai's lead pacer, Jasprit Bumrah has been reportedly ruled out of the upcoming Men's Indian T20 League 2023. Since September last year, he hasn't had any international games. In this period, Bumrah missed out on an all-important Men's 20-20 World Cup 2022. Apart from this, he has been in multiple bilateral series. Not to forget, he was set to make his comeback last month but he didn't.

After this, the fans were trolling him for his fitness. Not to forget, they were assuming that the right-arm pacer would be available for selection in the biggest T20 league. However, recent reports suggest otherwise. Sources in the Indian Cricket Board and the league's governing body suggested that Bumrah might have to rest during the months of April and May.

The former India pacer was part of the 2022 season-winning side, Gujarat. Even though he played only a few games, he showed flashes of brilliance. Meanwhile, he was unsold in the player auction for the upcoming season.

With Bumrah set to be ruled out, he might get to play for the Mumbai side. Not to forget, he has been part of various teams such as Delhi, Bangalore, Rajasthan, and Kolkata in the past. If he gets another chance this year, he might do well although it will depend on how he is utilized.

2. Sandeep Sharma

The 2012 U19 World Cup winner has played for Punjab and Hyderabad since 2014. In his first stint in the league with the 2014 finalists, he played for the team from 2014 to 2017. In 2018, Sharma moved to Hyderabad and played till 2021.

Last year, he once again played for Punjab and went unsold for this year. The right-arm swing bowler has the ability to swing the ball in the powerplay overs. Also, with his pace, facing inswingers to the right-handers can be the most irritating thing to face for batters.

3. Mujtaba Yousuf

The Jammu and Kashmir player went unsold in the player auction in December last year. He is the only left-arm pacer on this list. He has played 21 games for his state side and has 20 wickets averaging 27.25 including a three-wicket haul.
