Since the Indian T20 League 2022, several seniors have rested from International series. After all, the team has played back-to-back series in the last couple of months or so. In this listicle, we will discuss three players who missed out on the selection for the T20 series against West Indies.

The wicketkeeper batter is a notable omission from the squad. Notably, he is part of the ODI squad, which will be played prior to the T20I series. The fans aren't too happy with Samson's omission from the T20 squad. Recently, the right-hander scored 77 off 42 balls, including nine fours and four sixes against Ireland.

This performance got him a place in the squad for the first T20I against England. However, with the first-choice players returning to the team, he wasn't considered for the rest of the series. With the kind of form the Kerala player was in during the Indian T20 League 2022 or in the game against Ireland, he could have been included in the squad.

He is arguably one of the best pacers India have at the moment. The right-arm pacer has won a lot of games in Test and ODI formats for India. Also, not to forget, he played the 20-20 World Cup last year.

However, he has been rested for the ODI series against the Marron Brigade. Also, he isn't included in the T20I squad as well. This might suggest that either he is not part of the plans or he might make a wild-card entry in the 20-20 World Cup this year in Australia.

The left-hander was one of the mainstays in the playing XI since making his debut last November. From here till February this year, he played some good cameos while batting in the middle order.

However, since the biggest T20 League played in from Late Match to Late May, he lost his form. Subsequently, he warmed the bench during the tournament and then didn't play a game against South Africa. Iyer hasn't been selected in the upcoming T20 series against West Indies and might not feature in the future series before the event.
