Suryakumar Yadav hit his third century in T20I cricket in the ongoing third T20I match against Sri Lanka in Rajkot. His knock came in just 45 deliveries at a strike rate of 219.
With that century, he also became the first player to hit three centuries in the T20I format outside the opening slot. Suryakumar Yadav has been in sensational form with the bat. He has been scoring runs for fun at the moment.
On Saturday, he, once again, showcased his batting masterclass as he hit boundaries all around the park. Yadav continues to leave the cricketing world in awe with the repertoire of shots in his arsenal.
The Indian batter came to the crease after India had lost their second wicket for 52 runs in 5.5 overs. Tripathi had given the team a fine start and Yadav continued the momentum with some outrageous hitting.
Be it spinners or pacers, he didn’t allow any bowler to settle down and put pressure on him. Shubman Gill struggled to score boundaries but Suryakumar Yadav didn’t let Sri Lanka put pressure on India as he kept hitting boundaries at the other end.
After India lost Gill in the 15th over, the likes of Hardik Pandya and Hooda got out in quick succession but that didn’t have any effect on Suryakumar Yadav.
He continued his fireworks and went on to notch his third T20 hundred in just 45 deliveries. Yadav hit as many as 7 fours and 9 sixes en-route to his unbeaten knock of 112 runs in 51 deliveries at a strike rate of 219.61.
His knock helped India notch a gigantic score of 229 runs at the end of the first innings. The fans are in complete awe of Suryakumar Yadav’s masterclass knock.
There are numerous heart-warming tweets surfacing on the internet for India’s new T20 sensation. Here’s a look at some of those:

The problem with Suryakumar Yadav is that he is just a bit too good for this planet's bowlers.

Suryakumar Yadav just does limited-overs cricket right. It's only because of his presence in this team that I still have faith in some kind of batting revolution to touch India. INSANE.
