India and Pakistan are all set to cross the swords against each other first time after the clash in the T20 World Cup 2021. Both teams will now play against each other during their first match in the upcoming Asia Cup 2022 on the 28th of August later this month. Babar Azam & co will be looking for their second consecutive win whereas the Indian side is also gearing up for revenge for the last defeat at the World Cup.

Definitely, our morale would be higher because when we met the last time, Pakistan defeated India at the same venue. Pakistan is very familiar with the conditions, having played in the PSL and numerous home series here. Yes, India has played in the IPL here, but they don't have that much experience of playing in these conditions," said Sarfaraz to Sports Paktv.
"It is important for Pakistan to have a fit Shaheen Shah Afridi. If you look at their current team, they have been playing good cricket. But our team, especially in the shortest format, have been playing well," he added later.
