The world has been talking about India's humiliating defeat to England in the 20-20 World Cup 2022. Jos Buttler and Alex Hales combined to win the 169-run chase at Adelaide Oval. England won by a 10-wicket margin, securing a place in the finals against Pakistan.

Following the match, Pakistan's Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif took to Twitter to chastise India for their defeat. "So, this Sunday, it’s: 152/0 vs 170/0," he tweeted. Notably, Pakistan defeated India by 10 wickets while chasing 152 in the 20-20 World Cup 2021.

In response, former Indian all-rounder Irfan Pathan slammed the Prime Minister of the neighbouring country. He criticized him for his remarks and advised him to concentrate on doing more for his country.

"Aap mein or hum mein fark yehi hai. Hum apni khushi se khush or aap dusre ke taklif se. Is liye khud ke mulk ko behtar karne pe dhyan nahi hai. (That’s the difference between you and us. We are happy with our joys and you with others’ sorrows. That’s why focus on bettering your nation)," he replied.

However, the account might not be the former Australian pacer's real account. As it turns out, the account from which the insult was tweeted is not verified, and most of the tweets made from the account are about Pakistan Cricket.

Irrespective of whether the account was real or not, fans started trolling the former pacer right away. "He doesn't require your tweet for that, seems you're jobless and always on social media," wrote a fan while hitting back at Tait.

"Don't worry buddy but please you take care of yourself in tomorrow press conference after final. Irfan is doing well and we are sure he is earning more than you," wrote another.
