The Indian Team recently lost the 5-match T20I series to West Indies 3-2. The next assignment for the T20I side is a three-match series against Ireland. Then after that the Men in Blue will play a series of ODIs in the Asia Cup ahead of the 2023 World Cup. One of the members of the West Indies tour was Ishan Kishan. The left-hander had a good tour of the Caribbean.

In the three-match ODI series, Kishan scored three half-centuries and also opened the batting in place of Rohit Sharma. The man from Jharkhand gave a good account of himself. Now Kishan is having some downtime and he recently took social media by storm with his new look. He was styled by Aleem Hakim. He carries a salt-and-pepper hair look. The style of the cut resembles a mohawk.

Kishan is known for his styling and he does not hesitate to try new stuff. When his new look made its way on social media, there were a lot of reactions on X (formerly Twitter). Kishan has had a start-stop ODI career as he has been slightly inconsistent. The man from Jharkhand however has a double century in ODIs against Bangladesh.

Ahead of the 2023 World Cup, Ravi Shastri said that India should have three left-hand batting options in their lineup including Ravindra Jadeja. Shastri also said since India have given Kishan a long run in the shorter formats they should stick to him as a backup option ahead of the 2023 World Cup. The 25-year-old has scored 694 runs in 17 50-over games.

The Indian Team has faced a lot of criticism for their poor show in the T20I series against the West Indies. This has also left the fans very concerned as to how the Indian Team is shaping up for the World Cup at home. Rahul Dravid said that the fans should not be very concerned and the team will showcase a good performance in the tournament.
