India and Bangladesh played the second and last of the two-match Test series at the Sher-E-Bangla Stadium in Mirpur. The match ended up as a thrilling nail-biter as India managed to hold their nerves and won the match by a very close margin of 3 wickets in the fourth innings of the match.

The hosts posted a target of 145 runs after scoring 231 runs in the second innings. In response to this total, the Indian team collapses completely and lost their top four wickets only on the score of 45 runs when the game of the third day ended in Mirpur.

Continuing the chase on the fourth day of the match, the hosts pushed the Indians more towards the edge of loss and scalped their seven wickets only on the score of 74 runs. But Ravichandran Ashwin and Shreyas Iyer had some other plans on the day.

They both stayed there in the middle and stitched a remarkable 71-run partnership for the eighth wicket of the Indian team.

But eventually, Ravichandran Ashwin and Shreyas Iyer held their nerves to cross the finishing line for India and win the match by three wickets to win the series as well.
