Speaking of the match so far, the Islanders are batting first after losing the toss and have posted a total of 206 runs for the loss of six wickets in the allotted 20 overs. Skipper Dasun Shanaka has smashed his half-century off just 20 balls in the last over of the first innings. Shanaka ended up in the first innings with a brilliant six on the last ball of the 20th over scoring 56 runs off just 22 balls with two boundaries and six sixes to his name. Earlier in the innings, Opener and wicketkeeper-batter Kusal Mendis also played a half-century knock of 52 runs alongside a 37-run-knock by Charith Asalanka.
Apart from Umran Malik's three wickets, Yuzvendra Chahal and Axar Patel scalped 1 and 2 wickets respectively for India.
