Star Indian bowler and J&K’s sheer pace sensation Umran Malik has once again amazed everyone with his amazing and raw pace against Sri Lanka. Notably, the J&K pacer registered the fastest ball for India in the T20I cricket surpassing the senior pacers including the likes of Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Shami, and Navdeep Saini.

Umran Malik finished his four-overs spell against the Islanders by scalping three wickets to help the men in blue restrict the visitors from posting a big total. T

The fans lavished the praises on Umran for his raw and sheer pace that helped him to take some crucial wickets including the likes of Bhanuka Rajapaksa, Wanindu Hasaranga, and Charith Asalanka.

Speaking of the match so far, the Islanders are batting first after losing the toss and have posted a total of 206 runs for the loss of six wickets in the allotted 20 overs. Skipper Dasun Shanaka has smashed his half-century off just 20 balls in the last over of the first innings. Shanaka ended up in the first innings with a brilliant six on the last ball of the 20th over scoring 56 runs off just 22 balls with two boundaries and six sixes to his name. Earlier in the innings, Opener and wicketkeeper-batter Kusal Mendis also played a half-century knock of 52 runs alongside a 37-run-knock by Charith Asalanka.

Apart from Umran Malik's three wickets, Yuzvendra Chahal and Axar Patel scalped 1 and 2 wickets respectively for India.

Now, the men in blue need 207 run in 20 overs to take an unassailable lead of 2-0 in the three-match T20I series against Dasun Shanka’s men.
